Getting Seastar steering and need help!

Switching to Hydraulic steering and purchasing the HK7400 with HC6345 cylinder and need to know which helm I need (front or back), will my existing steering wheel work? Currently have the bullet steering wheel with allen bolts, this is on a 96 bullet, also I was told I need to remove the trim on the wheel????
One last thing, Do I need to order any adaptor kits to mount the cylinder?

Your existing wheel should work just fine. If you have the older type wheel, you will need to take the centercap off and take the big nut and 3 little nuts off and the wheel and adapter thing should come off without having to take the allen head bolts loose. Then you have to pull the hub with a steering wheel puller. Thats how I did it anyway, someone might know an easier way. The newer has the hub built in to the wheel. If you have this type, you will need to remove the allen bolts to get the wheel off, then pull the hub. If you have the trim button that mounts to your steering wheel, you will need to switch to another type. I have the turn signal type on mine. With hydraulic, the wheel may stop in a different position from time to time and could bind (or break) the wires to the steering wheel type trim. You need something that mounts to the helm, not the wheel. As to your other questions, I have no idea lol.

Yes your existing steering wheel will work. Mines a 95 20xd and I bought a polished aluminum wheel for mine and had to buy a hub adapter kit and a teleflex blinker trim. Not 100% for sure but you may have to buy the hub adapter kit. Here's a pic of mine.

I did this swap on a 97' last fall. The Sea Star Kit had everything. The only pain in the A__ was cutting the larger hole for the helm. No special parts were needed for motor.

Kit came in Yesterday and will be putting in this weekend, ForceFed I agree, looks like cutting the hole will be the worst of the job!
