    Organized Tackle Storage

    Organized Tackle Storage

I have a 21XRD. I just can't seem to get my tackle and rods organized in a way I like. Would like to see some pics of yours with some ideas. Does anyone make anything that will help organize it?

    Thanks

I looked in the bling, looked at Unique boat products seen a rod rack. Didn't see anything else that would help organize my tackle. Just figured you guys would have some cool ideas or pictures on how you keep your tackle and rods organized.

I got same rig...........my setup is all rods in center leaving passenger a locker for himself.........I use the Plano 3700 styles in the driver compartment in front of the console......labeled for easy viewing...........I have a bag that the 3700's fit into pretty well so when I go in another rig, I can be ready in 5 min.........tried all the bag stuff and this seems to work best for me

Heres what I got... with the exception of the center rod org actually holding 14 rods instead of 12. On the XRD I think you can get 16 rods inthe center but I'd have to check.

Sure wish they would put another door on the front deck that would hold around 4-5 plano 3700 boxes. I hated opening rod lockers to get tackle. Its not as bad on a 21 though because of the extra room

I [picked up a couple of file organizers from office depot and they hold the 3700 boxes pretty well. DaddyChatham makes some great rod racks.

    Re: (Cooney)

I removed the aluminum holder and rod tubes from the port rodlocker and pushed the tubes up deep inside the center storage . I put my rods in those tubes to keep them from tangling. I now use both side rodlockers for tackle storage and misc. storage. It is much easier for me to sit down facing the stern on the center lid with easy access on each side to my tackle.. The problem with using the center storage for tackle storage is that the lid only opens at the end and it is hard to see very far in.. Sticking the long rods in there (similar to daddy chathams photo) works better for me..

exactly, i think the center storage on the bullet is the BEST rod storage out of any bass boat out there. Side rod lockers on all the mainstream boats are too cramped and short! I wont tell you how many rod guides i have had to replace from guys having to bend their rods in 1/2 to make them fit into cramped lockers! The bullet center compartments work the best!

    Re: (jimmy7)

I stacked two Bullet tackle organizers in the starboard side. Not sure if a reguler lay up has the room to do this. I also Built this center rod organizer. Have not found the time to complete it yet. My rear compartments are full. Port side rod locker just has the typical rod storage.
