    Bullet HELP on prop selection

    I have a 20XD with a 250 Pro XS what prop do I need? I don't want to buy one and it not be what I need.

    What lower unit are you running? Need to know that before we can give you an idea on a prop. However, what works great for one person, may not be what your looking for. I think a TXP would be a good start.

    I have the stock gear case. I would like a all around good prop for tourn. fishing with a load.

    I'm guessing it's a Torquemaster and not a sportsmaster and is it the 1.75 or 1.62 gears? With that 250 on the 20' you should be running low water pickup. You have a true 90mph fishing boat and that is in the danger zone for a Torquemaster.

    with a TM CASE get a 28 txp 4blade 1 inch below the pad..if you get a SM CASE with 1.75 gears get a 30 txp 4 blade..if you get a SM CASE with 1.62 gears the 28 txp 4 blade will do

    and for what its worth, I have a 29" bone stock TXP 4O/T that has only been run 3 times that i am trying to sell for 350 plus shipping if it ends up your interested.

    I use a 28 bravo, run it to 90 lite-medium load. 88 loaded in the heat. 250xs 12"plate 20xrd.

    Yes, I had to have ole Nathan "aka ballast" To help level things out.
