    Question on rigging

I noticed the other day that my JP is a 1/4 in higher on one side than the other, where it mounts to the boat. it seems to me this is gonna cause the handling of the boat to be very difficult. I have taken the boat out and it acts like no other boat that i have driven. in reguards to chim walk, and correcting it. I am not an inexperieced driver. the boat acts erratic in the 60-70 mph range. ??? the boat is a 20xdc comp, with a 250efi merc, 10in JP, motor is 1in below the pad, and 30TXP 4blade. I would like some opinions on this if u would please.

    Thanks, Wade

    Re: Question on rigging (fastfishn)

not too sure about your jack plate being un square. I would figure that out 1st....

But I can say that if your running a sport master lower unit and are 1 inch BELOW pad your going to have issues. You need to be 1-1.5 above pad. A 20XDC Comp with a 250 should have a sport master lower unit no doubt.

In addition, that TXP is not going to perform well until you get the mota up.

but like I said, I would start at the jack plate and make sure it is mounted square
