This may seem like a newby question but I have to ask anyway. Where do I grease the wheel hubs at. I have looked everywhere for a grease fitting and can't find one. I have taken off the wheel and pulled out the rubber cap in the center of the hub and there is nothing. I believe the hubs are sealed so I cant just take out the bearings and pack them. I am lost. Please help.
They may not be grease hubs they may be an oil bath setup or sealed bearings.
I thought about that but when I popped off the rubber cap in the center it is full of grease. But knowing the guy I bought the boat from could have just squirted some in there. I don't know. Is there a way to tell by looking at the hub?
Might want to check, mine has reverse lube hubs with a grease fitting on the inside of the hub. It's an older one, worth a check!
After you take off the rubber cover is there a half dollar size "cap" in the middle? If so try to pry it off the grease fitting is under that... Dan
