    Try-in a Yammy T1 Prop

    Hey Guys,

A while back I spoke with a Bullet owner (who also sells bullets) and he told me about a 21xdc that he ran with a Yammy T1 29p Prop. If I recall correctly he said his best run was 101mph.

Just wondering if anyone here has run a T1 before and how they found it?

(I know it needs to be re-hubbed)

    Thanks

    Re: Try-in a Yammy T1 Prop (Hydrilla)

I was just wondering if ANYONE with a Bullet has tried a T1 on any combo before...

Guy at my bass club was talking about the T1 (for his yammy thou) and it reminded me about the conversation I had with a bullet guy a while back.

(Hydrilla if you were asking what the who said he went 101mph with, if I recall correct it was with an 05 300x...could have been an 03 thou)

I can guarantee his 101mph run was not with a stock Yammy.

I really like the 29T1 and I have it on 90% of the time. It carries a load much better than the TXP and I find that it handles better in turns.

No the T1 was not on a yammy, he was running his T1 30p on his merc 300x (bullet 21)

I ran a 29T1 that I sent to Marks Props he B&B it, lite lad, changed the pitch to close to 30.5 and did a few more things to it that he said he would need to do when I first called him in order to make it run. On a a 2005 20 XDC, 250 HPDI with 1.75 lower 6200-6300 (hard to keep a close eye on the tach) rpms it would run 94-95 mph GPS. Thats one person (190 lbs.) 1/2 to 3/4 tank of gas, med fishing load for balance. You can check with Tom @ Bullet on these #'s because he's the reason I bought the Yamaha, I had only ran Mercs on all my other Bullets. I don't know about over 100 MPH but it would run these # on my 20 XDC. Thanks

I would love to get mine re-pitched to a 30 or 30.5. I need to look into that.

oh ok. I thought you were saying he was running a yammy on his 21xdc turning a 29T1 to 101mph

I know nothing about the T1 doesn't seem like a very popular prop for any other motor accept a yammy

That motor has a 6150 limiter...

A Merc might bog on holeshot with these props. They have alot of rake and diameter. 15 1/8 up to 27P and 14 3/4 on the 29P.

I have owned a dozen T1's. They are good props. They will not fit a fat shaft because of the rubber pressed in hub. Keep your eyes open for a new prop this spring. Hopefully called the "Croxidile"

Heres a 27T1 that Mark B&BP for me.

    Re: Try-in a Yammy T1 Prop (21XDC)

    Mike,

Are you saying that a T1 cant be rehubbed to fit a merc fatshaft? Could it be reworked to fit the Flo-torq inserts?

MOST IMPORTANTLY....is this "Croxidile" prop for the spring going to be Marks new prop that everyone has been testing (that single protype that is floating around??)

    Re: Try-in a Yammy T1 Prop (Chris1978)

Many people have asked Mark to hub a T1 to fit the fat shaft, I believe Mark said no. It can not take the flo-torq either.

Yes I am talking about the prototype floating around. It's a good one and I did not want to give it back. I will however own a few when they come out. I just hope it's sooner than later. The tooling and scanning has begun.

My best top end ever was with a hydromotive big eared yammie drag knockoff built by Tom & Todd for top end.
