22" crack in the hull

Last night while driving home from fishing. I was side swiped by a vehilce trying to pass me on a two way road .My suburban and my bullet 20 v received damage. The hull received a 22" crack from the impact. The crack strarts at the front of the rod box and go toward the front. The crack is paralell with the edge line for the transition from bottom to the side. about 12" down from the seam (edge rope). Has anyone experienced a crack this long? . also I'm wondering if this has impaired the integrity of the hull strenth . Has any one had a similar situation or had to make a repair of this nature? Any help would greatly appreciated.

Longrodder had a hole in the side of his if that counts....lol.

Yep Red is the man. You should see before and after pics of Tim's after an encounter with a foriegn object in the river.

I can also vouch for Red. He did a great job on my boat when I tapped a buoy and he has helped me out with some other things. Very talented and knows his bullets.

Not a good night on the water. Basically channel marker with no markings or reflective tape on it. I wasnt going fast at all and no one got hurt so that was the good news.
