    Yamaha mechanic

Anybody know a good one or can recommend a good one near Gonzales? Got an 04/05 250 HPDI that ain't running right. It seems as if it's dropping a cylinder at times, but don't know for sure. Motor has been good so far and it's on our bay boat.

Cabelas in Gonzales , Bubba is a helluva Hammer Mechanic . Or Simons outbords on Roddi rd in Gonzales , Casey is the wrench for Simon there and he's as good as anybody around here on a hammer . Both of those places are a great place to bring a hammer , Id call and see which one could get you in quickest and thats where Id go !!!!!!

    Re: Yamaha mechanic (prbullet)

Yeah prolly will check compression one day this week after work. Pulled the plugs yesterday and the top one on starboard side was dry and white. I believe that's the #1 cylinder. Usually between me and my dad we fix our boat engine problems, but this one may be more than we want to tackle. Thanks for the recommendations.
