Jeff, that is an attention getter. they do that so people will look at them and take notice. We used to have them at 21 MPH in other plant i worked in.

Jeff there's one at the Shell facility in Robert that says 17 mph. We were told it was done to raise awareness. Everyone is used to seeing 15 or 25.

Winner Winner we all talk about and remember strange things....an odd speed limit causes you to notice and everyone talks about it...You cannot talk yourself out of a ticket in an industrial park cuz ya had ta notice the sign
Speed limit is 19 1/2 in the plant I work at.

Archie's number was 18......and just so ya know....
When neighborhoods etc post a speed limit they have to be different than the local community ones to be legal in most states.
