Anyone hear of ethanol eating away at the aluminum in the HPDI fuel pump??? A mechanic told a friend of mine that they are starting to experience this problem in HPDI engines.

No, not aluminum just the secret filter screens.
Is there ever a marine mechanic that would say " It's a defective pump design" and not try to blame it on the customers fuel or some other outside source?
