    Old 135 idling rough

The old Merc is idling rough, sounds like some cylinders stop firing every once in a while when idling, but runs good mid speed and wide open. Already changed out the hoses, they weren't bad. Will spraying carb cleaner help, or should I bring to shop?

I was going to ask if it's been tuned up since the civil war.

That might be what caused the problem, used it twice.

When I first started running Seafoam, I kept getting a miss while cruising at about 4000RPM(insert 20 mph joke here). I pulled the plugs and had chuncks of loose carbon on them. Hit them with a little carb cleaner and put them back in. Had to do it 2 or 3 times but now I don't have that problem. I have since switched to Amsoil to which is supposed to have less carbon build up than Yamalube. I still run Seafoam in just about every tank. At one year old that thing was full of carbon.

Didn't you just have to have your fuel system cleaned out??

That seems kind of long to run a set of plugs. I may be wrong though

Plugs looked good to me. The shiny spots are reflections, not metal.
