Explosion in New Iberia

Just saw this on the news. Hope everyone around New Iberia is ok.

Yea pretty massive , this comp. Multichem is only about1000 yds from my shop there was 5 explosions , no word on deaths or injures yet . Its only 3 miles from my house the smoke is so thick it's actually darker outside

You were much closer to the mishap that I was. My work is about a mile from there (closer to the runway) and we were told to evacuate. Hope everyone in that area made it out all right.

I think everyone did,it's hard to believe that big of an explosion with no injuries,must have starded witha warning of somesort

Someone leaving work had sent me an email saying there was black smoke looked like on Hwy 182. Short time after, someone said there was an explosion at Tri Chem and we had to evacuate. I saw a couple of the explosions as I was leaving.

Still on fire...they r saying no injuries and everone is accounted for,I also hear Thomas Tools a neighboring comp also sustained somefire damage as well as surrounding vehicles
