2011 LAKE CONCORDIA BASH!!!

NOV 3-6. I booked the big lodge at Lakeview from Thursday to Sunday. I'll be there Wednesday but decided to not get the lodge that night since we don't have a lot of people that show up that early. This event has grown into something very big and special. The family atmosphere at this event is phenomenal. Last year we had a band (that went over great) but since Lakeview is under new management we may or may not be able to do the same. As usual, we'll have a little cookie jar tournament Saturday, either morning or evening. Dawn as graciously accepted the responsibility of putting shirts together again, THANKS DAWN! Hope the regulars along with new folks can make it.

I don't think you will be disappointed in Lakeview. The new (really old owners) have come back in and done tons of cleaning up. He hauled truck load after truck load of garbage and junk away. It is cleaner already than it has been in several years and will only get better. You can walk outside the rooms and by the fish cleaning station without worrying about knee deep grass and what may be in them. The whole place is taking on a different look. He also has new furniture coming for the rooms. I have had a camper there for six years now and this is the best the place has looked in that time.

I sure hope so. The last time I stayed there I needed rubber boots just to brush my teeth. The sink had a hole in it that would drip on you. The place was a dump

Just booked Cabin 5 at Sportsman. Said it was going to be an extra $20 a night since I was getting to stay next door to Barry.
