Tickfaw is a little better , but I fish the Amite more just cause its closer . Neither is hard to fish. Last time I went I caught them on a chugbug early , then plastics and spinnerbait.

Is there any certain places to fish. Do you fish the river or canals off the river, next to camps with docks?

I fish in the river if the water is good. I fish the outside (deeper) bends of the river . Mostly trees and Lilly pads . Never had much luck on the Amite with docks .

If we get rain it will muddy up. Then you have to get off the main River to find cleaner water.
