    Timmaahh

man i know you in a hurry to get the mullet shined up and on a limited budget tryin to run with buddy , mark and sushii but do it right the first time!!!!!!!!!!!!! If you want to get you a place to stay over here this weekend be here early saturday morning and i will help you sand and closely supervise the buffing. i have all the chemicals already and the sandpapers i just cant swing the buffer right now. I wont charge you much mostly just the chemicals. Maybe buddy or sushii will put you up for the weekend since they got you into the mess i mean the bullet . Serious lets do it right and make it look like a new to you boat should!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    Re: Timmaahh (DOUGMCGEEFTD)

Doug, I would love to and I really appreciate the offer, but momma ain't gonna let me go anywhere this weekend as I have tournaments for the next 3 weekends(after this one) and I have to hit the yards up on my side job this weekend since my evenings are tied up this week.

I really do appreciate the offer and seriously wish I could....Just ain't no way I can this weekend.

leave it like it is until you can . those compounds are expensive as barry knows by now no need to waste them until we can or you can do it right. If you decide to do it yourself call me and i will walk you thru it. Dont be scared of the sanding cause you can do as much or more harm with the buffer

Will do....I guess I was just kinda scared of the sanding b/c I've seen a couple boats around here that ppl have done and they look absolutely amazing when they first get done with them, but the next year seems like they look right back like chit again(a couple of them look even worse). But, they may have not known what the hell they were doing too.

    Re: Timmaahh (timmaahh12)

the sanding doesnt do that unless they didnt take enough off or if theres not enough left to take off. Or if they didnt buff right after sanding. Buffing does the same thing removes clear. Buffing does it at a slower pace and is much more costly. i can take more off with a dollar piece of sand paper than you can with 50.00 worth of compound in half the time and still brink to look like new.
