Black Lake?

Anyone ever fish Black Lake in North LA? Club is thinking about having a T there in Oct. Is it decent?

Yea, its a good lake. I was asked to fish a tourny with someone up there next month.

Cory our club is heading their for our 2 day outta town tournament on May 7th-8th. It's an awesome lake. Cypress flooded, coon-tail, clean water. Did I mention they love your favorite bait We had our last 2 day event their in Nov, I think 13 of us made the trip. Everyone brought 5 to the scales both days, fun place to fish, yall should go

Sweet.. that's what I needed to know.. the choices were Black Lake or Venice, and I am sick of Venice.

got a camp there..fish it often...lot of cypress..extremely clear water...when you find the right water depth(usually 6-8 ft) you can tear em up...holla at me when it gets closer and maybe i can tell you what they are hittin on..ive had great luck on the same bait at all times of the year, just diff depths and presentations...

Ok, me and Randy are friends. I'm his hummingbird fixer lol I might fish the despinos tire tourney Tom on the red river if I don't hit a little toury on black lake. Havent decided who I want to donate my money too
