Have 200 SHO with 25p Fury on my Z119. Boat runs good at high rpm but seems sluggish out of the hole. Anyone else had problems/experience with this motor. Currently has about 5hrs on motor but to me should get on plane much quicker. Manual jackplate set about 3.5" below pad. Any advice? Thanks
I've played with different props on my setup... I have a 25 Fury that doesn't come out of the hole nearly as well as my 25 T-1. I would suggest getting a hold of a 24 Fury, or a 25 T-1.
The Ranger guys should be able to assist with what prop is running best on that setup.
Your boat weights around 1550 lbs. Do you have your vent holes plugged on your fury? If not you'll get lots of cavatation/blow out until on plane. If they are plugged you may need to go down to a 24P Fury. You see big improvement out of the hole and will gain around 200 RPM at WOT. Good luck!
24 fury or 25 t-1. If you get a t-1 make sure you get the new one that is non-vented. The SHO doesn't need the PVS holes due to its extreme amount of torque. Try contacting your dealer since this is a new boat and they should handle it for you. I know that we do anytime a customer has a complaint with setup on a new boat. Make sure if you stay with the fury though you plug the holes as flyswatter stated it will make a huge difference
