Shoved the boat about 8 in forward bending brackets on the trailer, but the worst part was my motor hanging off the back. Only thing keepin it from falling off was the cables and wires.... Broke the motor bracket slap in two... no tellin the damage done to the motor, and there is damage F**kin idiot... Noticed him tailgating us a few miles back! UGH

Sorry to hear that and I came by when the wrecker was hooked to your motor. Didn't look good. Good luck on getting it fixed.

Always wondered how that works. Is it the vehicle insurance that will cover or the boat insurance??

If you are at fault in an accident, your liability insurance will pay all damages. That includes cars, trucks, houses, boats, anything you hit.

Sorry to hear that. Check the transome good for damage also. Thats the intersection where you don't stop, just stick to right lane.

My BIL had that happen to him years ago. They just totaled the boat because it was an older boat and it was better for the insurance company to do it. He didn't come out to good. I will tell you this, before the insurance company looks at the boat and totals it you might take the electronics off along with any other new stuff that you don't want to lose.
