I am thinking about buying boat that is powered by one . It has 400 hours on it and was maintained very well with no problems and oil pump recall done awhile ago . Any thought would be helpful good or bad before make major purchace. Thank's

just get it checked out good, have the normal things checked, fuel pressure, compression, and leak down test and if nothing else get the serial number on the motor and call Yamaha or a local dealer and have them pull the engine history.
