Im trying to get my water pressure gauge hooked up, and couldnt find where to hook it up so i figured id just put it in the water and start it and see where it pissed water. It didnt. does this mean there was never a water pressure gauge installed? The boat had a merc on it before and got the hose ran allready to the motor, just need to know what i need to hook it up now,

    Re: Water pressure gauge (hyperflow)

If a gauge has never been installed, you will need to purchase a fitting. On the top of each head there should be a bolt that will need to be removed. Mine had an orange washer under the bolt. Once the bolt is removed, you will need to screw in the fitting. The fitting will have a male barb on it. You will slide the end of you tubing on the barb at the motor. You will have to route the tube from the motor to your gauge.

When you go to the dealer to pick up the fitting, they should be able to explain how to do this.

    Good luck.

You need water pressure adapter kit # MAR-WPRES-AD-TR. About $10.00 at boats.net
