Shows what a freshwater diversion can do for a lake. We need one in Lake Desallemands now.

I told you guys when yall started the Classic weight predictions, the Classic will be won locally, near the launch, I said you can BOOK it. Still 2 days to go, and anything can happen....but Venice will have some nice stringers caught, but will not catch the weight of the bass in the Cat. Those bass are at least 3 weeks late making their move into there due to the very cold weather. The fish are coming to those guys, not away. Wonder how ole KVD figured that out- LOL.

Re: Top 3 from the cat (Bowman1)

No, I actually fished till 1100 this morning in an area where there are no pros, in fact, no bass boats at all. I lost a bass est. to be between 10 and 12 lbs. on a big swimbait. Dam big gal came out from a large chunk of floating wire grass, exploded on the lure, tried to make a jump( was more a head shake with a lot more than just the head out the water), and when she came down, turned and took me 8 feet under and into that wad of crap, the big treble hook on the bait tore out, and I was a lil depressed. I threw that dam thing for 3 hours without a bump before that. But, thats swimbait fishing, been playin with them for 7 years now, not a real good hook-up to landing ratio lure, but tehy sure do get a big gals attention.
Jeff, I put a guy on fish that lost the 9 lber today. I told him in Nov. to stay between two spots and do not give up on them. Listening to rumors, he stayed in one spot very near the 3 leaders, but not in the tank pond. Big mistake.

now that the top three are from the cat, I expect ALOT of pressure tomorrow. Thats the only reason i dont see it being won in the cat. No doubt it has the fish to win, but it will have the boats to mess it up

im betting that the pressure is gonna bomb the cat fish...venice fish will win it..average weight is less in venice, but i think it will be more consistent...

the guys in venice caught their fish in a short amount of time...

Y'all keep talking about the psi on the cat. You are talking only 50 anglers total. Have y'all ever been to the cat on a weekend?
