can I get some opinions on some of these boats/motors

without starting a pee pee match.. just wanted to get some opinions on the following.. Looking at purchasing a used boat this year and finding lots of deals that fit what i'm looking for..
19-20ft with a 200 would like 2004-2006 year.. These are the boats that fall in my price range..

    Blazer
    Stratos
    Skeeter
    Triton

i currently own a 2 stroke yammi and never had a lick of problems. What are some likes/dislikes of the yammi and mercs in those years..

anything I should be aware of? known problems issues, etc..

Blazer - Good boat if it has been taken care of.
Stratos - Good boat but will stress crack in rough water( I have owned one)
Skeeter - Turd, Just ask Tiimmaahh and Roger
Triton - Turd due to quality issues over and over and over. Just go read the Triton board.

These are just my opinions. Not that it matters.

Rest in Peace Buddy Poche - Bayou Bullet.

All the boats listed are good boats depending on how well they were kept. I run Blazer myself and think they are great boats, but no matter what you go with i can't express enough how much a boat with warranty will be the better deal.
If you have not priced power heads they are very expensive to replace and rebuild. If you would say what your price range is it may help others give their opinions.

After fishing as a co-angler in BFL and weekend series I have ridden in just about every brand. So I will answer this as my opinion ( which means nothing ).

Blazer- was not impressed. It is narrow on front deck. I would just get a Bullet if you want the speed.

Stratos - The best ride ut of the ones mentioned and a good fishing platform. Seat are comfortable but not high quality.

Skeeter - The best fishing decks of any boat. But not the best ride.

Triton - nothing bad to say besides the well talked about chine walk. Make a hour run and you will be worn out fight the wheel.

Sounds like that red triton I have for sale would fit ya well, and with a 2009 motor, theres still plenty warranty left. $15,500

Shop price if your not sold on a certain boat. Both motors are great motors, yamaha and mercury. Ive had both. Motor warranty is worth alot. I would have never shopped Bee Line to be honest with you, but I ran across a steal, gave them an honest look for once and I love it a hell of alot better than the Skeeter I had. Anyone that talks about chine walk dont know how to drive a boat that will run on the pad. Out of the ones you mentioned, I like the Strat the best. Good luck and if I find a deal I will let you know.

The one with the most motor warranty and the one YOU like is the best.

for this go round, i'm trying to keep it under 20K. one of the better deals I've seen was 05 Triton TR196 w/ 05 merc optimax 200 for 17.5.. dual axle trailer, dual console, garaged, etc.. at this price i could upgrade electronics and install a talon..
I've looked at every boat for sale on this forum and several others.. Just to see whats available on the average prices.

    Re: (bayouXpress)

No. Any boat worth having will chine walk. Its easy to learn to drive it and once you do it wont wear you out like others have said. Matter of fact its much more fun to drive. Usually someone with a Skeeter will tell you crap like that cause they're so slow they dont run on the pad like other boats. I dont like Tritons, but its a personal preference thing for me.

Now Ive never driven a Triton , but I hear the older ones walked a lil more than the newer ones , and thats because they were faster . But that aint nutn you cant learn to eliminate with a lil seat time . I repeat , thats what I hear on a Triton , cuz Ive never even ridden in one ( because there junk) !!!!!! LOL just jokin !!!!
