    Lower Motor Damper

Guys, have any of you ever replaced the lower motor damper on a 2005 250 HPDI? It's a rubber bushing that is located about 12 inches above the cavitation plate (i think without looking at it) It looks pretty easy, just wondered if any of you have ran into any problems?

    Re: Lower Motor Damper (bronzebkr)

Are you talking a bushing that the prop shaft goes through? Its on the inside of the midsection housing? If so are you sure you engine has one? Parts diagram doesnt show it unless your engine is a saltwater unit.
