Yalls Thoughts on the NEWTON SAGA?

I think I'm not thinking about it until the NCAA finishes the investigation. I'm going to let the FACTS tell me what to think, not the hype in the press.

I heard today there was a taped phone conversation,if it's true that they were talking bout money, them AU is screwed.It's gonna take more time for it all to come out.

Here is what I think will happen. 3 or 4 years down the road they will get it all straightened out like they did Reggie Bush debacle. They will take away the wins which will have screwed someone out of the opportunity either for a NC game or a better bowl game and the guys who are on Auburn's team at the time will have to pay the price for the mess created. One thing that I keep reading about is people saying that it is only being brought up because of their record and him being the leading candidate for the Heisman, but what I have read or heard on ESPN is that this was turned over to the NCAA earlier in the year. They didn't go ahead and start the investigation until they received some more evidence which put it on the front burner. If it is true-some teams will be hurt by it (including LSU) because their loss against them will be eventually thrown out. If it is not true-Newton will have probably missed out on the Heisman because of the allegations since I think it will affect the voting. They simply don't want another Reggie Bush situation down the road. That's my take on it.

Keep in mind AU was on probation before...went undefeated...think Tommy Bowden was Coach then...they should know better but nooooo...
they take a cmty college hi risk guy or 2 or 3...too many charges here...one can be kissed off but with a background of cheating more than once at Fla....AU looked the other way...Cam is in da can...my bookie says...there u go.
