Any of you guys running pennzoil brand lower unit fluid?? Yamaha brand is $13 a bottle. Penzoil is $5 a bottle. I have to have two bottles. Wonder what the difference is???

I'll be changing mine in the near future (new LU, 10 hour change) and will use Yamaha LU lube....
i run pennzoil and have been doing it for several years with no problems

I came from another brand that ate LU's for lunch until i used Royal Purple. Be it coincidence or not i use the Royal Purple in my Yamaha LU. Think you will be fine using any of the premium oils ie Merc, Yamaha. Amsoil, Pennzoil etc. I now have over 300 hrs with no issues on it.
I always used merc high performane lube in the merc that i had with no issues. It was conveinient to pick up so thats what I put in the Yammy. Thanks for the opinions guys
