? on history of 225 fich motor

Just wondering if you can find out the history fo the motor thru the ser #. Its a 2000 evun 225 ser E225FPLSS . Just wondering what has been done to it .loking @ a champion 202 that has it on. Thanks for the help,

Do you know what year and possibly where it came fromand any other valueble info? Owner telling me it was a 2000 and no troubles. thanks again mcgaff1

This motor is a 2000 model and was purchased on 8/11/99 in Canada. On 11/27/01 the Injector Strap kit was updated...1/19/01 the oil pump was replaced and on 11/01/99 the powerhead was replaced..hope that helps and good luck.

1997 thru 1999 = plain FICHT

2000 on up - FICHT Ram or later Evinrude DI
