Yamaha Digital Gauges

Looking at going with a S.H.O on my next boat. I am looking at a 200 on the newly designed Z518.

I would like to utilize a digital gauge like the command link. I am unfamiliar with Yamaha's digital gauges. I see the command link on thier site for single engine use. Is this the gauge most people are going with? Would anyone be able to give me a idea on size or post a few pics of their digital gauge set-ups? Looking for some direction on what to go with. Thanks!

I have had the round digital yamaha gauges in my last 3 boats since 1998. I really like them. I wanted to get the fuel anagement gauges too, but they were really expensive and could not figure out a way to lay my dash out nicely with them. I wish they had a digital water temp and water pressure gauge, but nope.. I had to buy the analog ones. My speedo would quit reading at 82 mph and leak water from the back. I was thinking it might be a pressure relief valve etc... But then I noticed it fill up with water and I had to replace it... Still only reads up to 83 even though the GPS goes higher.

Thanks for the pics. The dash looks good and easy to read. It sounds like that style has been around for awhile and must have been a good system for them.

I am looking at keeping the gauges that come with the boat and add a digital gauge for fuel consumption, hrs on motor, water pressure, etc. I have been running a Merc with the smartcraft system 1000 and really like it. Is anyone running the command link with their yamaha's?

I had the 2 main command link gauges on my Yamaha. Since the Yam was put on as a repower i had several other gauges. That being the case i removed the command link gauges and replaced them with LMF400's. I now have 4 LMF 200's and the 2 LMF 400's, which is definitely overkill. If you want i'll sell you the command link gauges for half price. To be honest it is still cheaper to go with the Lowrance LMF 400's though.

I had the same thing happen to my speedometer and just got off the phone with the dealer to order me a new one and i was told it should be covered under warranty. Did you find out what caused the gauge to go bad.

I think it's from too much pressure. Mine quits reading at 83 mph...

I have a skeeter with a 250 and not seeing 80s but it started happening at around 70 then I notice the gauge was full of water and my leg was wet.

I have the LMF's from Lowrance and just love the over kill!!!

Conner you beat me to it, but I got the LMF 200 for the temp that we running and have 2 LMF 400 in case if something happen to the Yamaha digital gauges. Mike my water pressure gauge would pee on me also at 70 mph and have not had it 80 yet just 78 mph
