Has anyone ever been ran out of these canals by Plains (oil company that says they own the entire area)?
If you know where I'm talking about would you or have you fished this for a Tournament?
Has anyone here been ran out of there?

Last i heard they are open. Call Chad G., his brother in law runs the facility at the front of it.
Are these the canals between copasaw and miners? I am not sure what you are talking about but I know I was ran out of there. The guy was nice to me and said that I couldnt be back there and asked me to leave so I did.

I've been fishing it for the past month and haven't been ran out, but was chatting with an employee of Plains telling him where he could go catch a mess of bass and he went on to telling me that Plains owned the waterways and was surprised that I haven't been ran out. I spoke to another avid fisherman from this area and he mentioned that it was only one employee of Plains running people out

That makes more sense I would think.

i thought they had to be gated to be able to run you out? I would have to push the issue as they are naviagle water ways even in low water conditions. Just me but i would have to be the one cause if thats the case all the oil companies could block off most all the canals in the marsh, spillway and verret
i know of quite a few people being run out of the runouts in the marsh![]()

I might could see that but they are not navigable in low water either. if it is then i say its fair game the way the law reads.
If youÂre on Continental Land they can run you out of the runouts/marsh without gates. I know from 70 mile to Tennessee pipeline is all off limits once you go through a runout.
I can see how they could run you out then but not out of the canals and bayous!!!!!!

Exactly!
I believe that they tried to overturn that law. I don't see how you can own water??? Land of both sides, yes...water that is tidally influenced, no![]()
If that is the one with all the signs with the wooden wier across the front i have been in it several times and have been yet to be told anything. but then again it only takes one (edit) to ruin a trip.
Hey guys it is off limits for us. My cousin used to b a guide for plains back there and the only way I could go back there the time was if he was with me. U if u do go back u will eventually get run out. I'm not tryin to bring y'all down about but they will run u out. I know last year for the spawn we caught some fat toads back there. If I can find the pics I will post them. Just sayin!

I haven't been back there in about 3 years. My cuz got fired because they accused him of stealing alligators that they trapped. Which was a crock of chit. How in the world would someone steal some 9' to 10' alligators by themself?
