    Big Motor...NO POWER

Was fixing my wiring for my Humminbird and now I have no power to the big motor??? Does anyone have a diagram or suggestions for tracing the wiring? Also, trim only clicks when I push the button and does not move the motor. Is there only one fuse under the cowling? I checked it and it was unbroken. I am completely at a loss for this one.

Start simple. Make sure you didn't discharge the battery while messing with the other electronics.

Try a different battery, or charge the one you have before you dig too much into the electronics.

Normally a yellow wire with a red stripe is your ignition, and should be hot when you turn the key. You can always try to arc the solenoid to make sure you have power.

To do any troubleshooting, you need to know or learn how to use a meter. Then start looking at voltages and the circuit. The click is the relay and the contacts made do not have power for the hydraulic motor. You probably blew this fuse or circuit breaker. Continue to look at all your fuses and circuit breakers for a lead to your troubles.

    Good Luck
