well since i posted about a tx, ive gotten a few im from different people. so i started seeking advice, on how to do this thing without having any liability if someone was to get hurt. it was either get a big insurance policy, or start a llc, or everybody meet at one place, i charge no money and i just give a rod away for the biggest fish of the day. still august the 21st, looks like bell river public landing. i am still open for suggestions
Instead of charging a entry fee , why cant we just ( donate ) 30 bucks and all that will get split up between the top 3 boats !!!!!!!

I ran the tournaments at false river for a few years and all I had to have was a waiver signed before each tourney releasing me and anyone else involved with running it from liability. Our attorney actually wrote it up for us. Seemed to be fine.

i think some people read my original post wrong, it was 5 dollars a person, every fourteen people i would give away a rod for big fish. it wasnt a money tx. that 5 dollars would basically cover my coast of the rod, and give every one a chance to see them and get together befor hunting season got kicked off
Is there going to be a prize for smallest limit?

Doug I saw your point and it is a very good gesture. Others are just trying to make more out of it. Worse than a bunch of women. $5 for a chance to win a $140 rod and they want to make changes.
