    U sure that cowl flows the same amount of air as one from a 250XS? I know the 250XS is differnet from the 300XS. I would ask Don in the 3 liter forum on here.

    Leaning her out will not be a good thing.

    That was the first thing I thought of, I flipped them over side by side and the intakes are identical, the outside is different but the inner cowl is the same.

    I would still ask. THe 250XS looks identical to the 300XS. The difference is very minor but makes a BIG difference.

    If you look at the Gamble on page 9 of our boats, it's made like his. Also I think Dougs 250xs is made this way also.
