05 OX66 idling problems

My 200hp OX66 is having mostly the same issues that everyone elses has at some point. When I come off plane it idles really bad like its starving for fuel and sometimes stalls out.

Initially I changed all 3 fuel pumps and the fuel filter...which didn't really help so I cleaned the O2 sensor. Still no progress was made I unhooked the fuel pumps and tested them one was leaking fuel. I replaced that ran it for a week with the same results and tested them again now the other 2 are bad. Also I've got a fuel oil mixture coating the bottom of my motor...I think its coming from the air intakes. Is there a mistake that commonly goes wrong with this process? If anyone has any suggestions other than taking it to a dealer and being boatless for awhile I would appreciate them.

Did you replace the gaskets behind the fuel pumps? They don't usually come with them and need to be ordered seperately. How's your fuel lines before the engine look? Finally, how about the spark plugs?

I had the same issues. Replaced fuel pumps, cleaned VST filter and cleaned the 02 sensors. Motor was still sluggish, and I pulled my spark plugs. They were BLACK. Replaced them and now she runs like a champ.
