2004 Yamaha

The motor runs fine for 3 runs only, seems the 3RD time on plane it shuts down and wont fire over, cranks fine but will not fire over. Starts great when cold and make a run, fish for a few hours, make another run, fish again, the 3RD run the motor shuts down on plane and will not fire over. Thing is once it sits for an hour or so, sometimes it will start other times it wont...WHATS UP with this thing. So far 3 marinas cant figure it out.

Forgot to add it is a 200 H/P motor.

Could be a fuel filter stopped up, is the motor an HPDI ?

sounds like something is getting hot and breaking down to me.
