    LOSS of speed (BIG LOSS)

    Hey guys I've got a 200 ox66 and I just bought it in february when i got it it would run 72 with live wells open fuel tanks full and about 69 with my partner. now the other day with to guys i could only run 67 (not much loss there figured that was due to the dog days of summer) but then fished a tourney yesterday and the first run 65 then on the run back 55 to 57?????????????????!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! HELP!!!!

    Did you lose your normal wot rpms. Could be a filter?

    Sounds like a problem with the prop. Motor still turning up but going slower? Not the motor

    Hard to see a slipping hub. To test, borrow another prop, simple check to eliminate the motor.

    Hard to make sense out of that. You measuring with a speedometer or GPS?

    Good point Same motor revs does not equal less speed unless the speed reading is wrong or the prop is bad. Have you changed motor height? Has the boat filled with water, possibly water logged foam? Loaded differently? Something not adding up
