    I must be misreading it because it looks like he had 2 limits. The only day you don't show him with a limit is day 1. Day 2 5 19-9 and Day 3 5 14-7 and shows 14 overall for 53-6. Still a good weight. If I misread it, sorry.

    My bad...type-o in a hurry...he had an 8-9 pounder follow his swimbait but would not take it...and blew p-head last day of practice...what a week.did make $2,309 but lost $$$ on the week...great points for the OPENS though.

    Job well done

    LOCAL ANGLERS PLACE AT PRO EVENT

    From April 8 to 10th on Lake Amistad near Del Rio, Texas the B.A.S.S. Central Open with over 400 bass anglers was held. Our area had 5 entrants from local bass clubs. Randy Pitre of Vidalia finished 16th on the Pro side with over 53 pounds to win $2,309. Vidalians David Cooper (97th) and Claude Rabb (119th) also did well.

    On the Co-angler (non-boater) side Vidalian E. "Buz" Craft won over $2,800 for 5th while Steven Mitchell of Jena, who fishes area clubs, was 6th. Newbie co-angler Gary Waller of Vidalia was a solid 66th.
    A Lake Amistad guide won the $53,000 top prize.
