    and the year of suffering continues.....



    hit a stump at our chicot tournament,spun my prop.At least i hpoe thats all. To top it off only caught 1 keeper ,5 pounder but nothing to go with it. Guess my mojo is gone again

    I dont think i would have showed any one a pic of me being towed by a toon with a johnson for sure!!!!!!!!!! Towed by a toon is bad and towed by a johnson is bad but a toon with a johnson is terrible!!!!!!!!!!

    i had been on high on a 36 volt trolling for an hour and a half. i would have let a skeeter pull me at that point

    i know i spun the hub , took it apart when i got home its toast. does not seem to be any more than that, shaft not bent ,no noises when i spin the shaft by hand,motor turns shaft so we will see.IF IT QUITS SNOWING .seriously there are snow flurries at my house

    You may be ok.Sometimes spinning a hub saves the lower unit..

    You may wanna take your plug out your lower unit and see if you have any metal in the oil.If you do then no need to go and try to run it..

    check lower unit oil and/or chage it then if looks ok go run it and see.

    If I were you , Id put an indicator on that shaft and check the run out also to make sure its not bent . May save you a chit load of money !!!!!!!
