Can anyone give me a little insight into fishing Bayou Barholomew in Sterlington, LA. I've got a small club tournament down there this coming weekend and I've never had an opportunity to fish it before, and know absolutely nothing about the place. Not looking for anyone's particular hole, just general information would be nice. Thanks in advance !

Well it use to be part of bartholomew bayou before be dammed off so on average its a 20'-30' channel which is very easy to see and manuever with flats on either side of the channel! Lots of grass & bluff banks to the north and lots of piers, trees, and sand flats to the south! Lot of good fish in there!! Especially right now they are on the spawn and people have been drumming them all week! One of my favorite local lakes!!!
