Yep, if they would have honored our GM Supplier discount we might have bought one. Leann did go look at Vettes the other day...

    Re: Brand Loyalty (250XD)

I use to be loyal to Chevy, but since the socialist take over I'm looking at Ford now. As far as rigs go, I love my BULLET, that thing is fun, one day I may return to the lead sled fleet but I really just don't like the design of the new boats, mostly the consoles. But for NOW, BULLET is where it's at. My take a couple of these before I get tired of them.

+1 - I ain't rich enough to own a boat much less brand loyalty. But we manage.
I think. if I sold some of my fishing gear I might be able to go brand loyalty.

so whats the best jjohn????? It sure is hell aint chevy and i got 1 in the driveway so i know from experience. I have always had chevys and dodges. the last 6 new dodges never in for any service work no repairs. this pos chevy been in for 3 recalls, 2 warranty claims and i done bought an ond2 scanner to fix the stuff that wasnt under warranty! Aint sayin my next will be a dodge but it sure as hell wont be another chevy! I hate pulling my big block chevys to the track with fords and dodges but life is rough and it will be that way! Oh well atleast none of the actual parts left in the race motors is factory junk all aftermarket! I bet i could build a dart block, with crower crank and rods , good pistons etc and have it last 300k without a rebuild!

    Re: Brand Loyalty (signmanbasser)

Nah i 'll keep racing chevys but like i said i dont use factory junk. i start with dart or motown blocks and work up from there! I have had no blow ups since i got away from factory stuff! I tare them down once every year or two depending on how much i play and change valve springs, rings and bearings.

Doug sounds like you got a lemon on the Chevy. And if you have had 6 Dodges then you aint never kept them long enough to give you trouble. My FIL had 2 dodges in a row that were crap, the first one the motor locked up with 6k miles on it.And the second one ate 2 transmissions in 2 yrs.But he likes them so much he just bought a new Dodge diesel.Chevys are still the longest lasting, best resale, and best looking truck on the market,so for me they are they best and i aint the only one that knows it.

    Re: Brand Loyalty (fritz20)

For what its worth as it was 18 years ago but here are the stats....most money made turning wrenches for dealers
    Dodge
    Chevy
    Cadilac
    Ford
    Toyota
Worst place I ever worked was Toyota...The day I worked they had 4 salary techs and me (the newby) I changed out a carpet in the back of a Supra and prepped 2 delivery cars...Had to leave...the guys were playing cards and foosball
Dodge big problems Transmissions, body parts inferiorly designed
Chevy too many electronic parts under hood
    I won't drive a Toyota...and might end up in a Chevy...WITH WARRANTY ONLY
Other than that I drive my Fords and they serve me well as others will say about theirs...A yellow Camaro may be in the future..Bumble Bee got me
