    Quick Skeg Fix?

Does anyone know of a skeg gaurd or protector that will fit on a 04 Vmax HPDI? Chipped the bottom of mine and I have found several Skeg Gaurds but none that will fit on the hpdi.

If its a small chip you can just cut the skeg smooth again with a hacksaw or recipro saw. I did this to mine and ran the hell out of it after and could tell no performance difference whatsoever. As long as you still have enough skeg to protect the prop you should be good to go.

Thanks for the info. Mine will still protect the prop but it is to tall to cut off I think. It dont really affect performance as near as I can tell. I just like things to be right.

Have you looked at these or are you wanting the one that fits on the front edge of the skeg? This one is the full skeg guard.
