I go up, it goes down. I go down, it goes up. Can I just swap the wires on the back of the guage or at the motor?
Thanks,

I have the same thing on my Stratos (2003) I was told that the factory put in a Mercury trim gauge and my boat was rigged with a Johnson. I don't think you can just "flip" the wires around. I was told that Blazer doesn't rig BRP motors at the factory, so that's probably what happened.
Blazer does rig BRP motors at the factory. They just don't do very many yet.I know when I spoke with them at one point they were waiting on my motor to arrive at the factory.

That's what it sounds like to me to. You have a merc guage.
Have you found the right prop for that e-tec yet??
I really think the right prop is going to be a 30 TXP. I have access to a 30 Raker, but haven't been able to meet up with Kenneth to give it a try. I'm waiting to see if Todd has gotten the 30 TXP's he had on order in yet.
I also know where another 30 TXP is that I may go ahead and buy.
A Merc trim guage.....I won't tell my motor that it's hooked up to a Merc part.....it might make it sick.

I've got a 28 txp on the way and will test it soon. I thought you might be interested in it if I don't like it but it sounds like it will be too small for you.
I keep hearing good things about the running the txp props on blazers so I had to buy one just to see if it will beat my 28 print raker.
I've got a 29 on it now, and I have two issues.....
1) I get to 6K rpms way too fast and it will go farther if I let it.
2) I think I can come up a little more on the plate as well, but can't because of #1.
It's a rocket out of the hole with a 29, so a little worse with the 30 won't bother me.
I ran a 29 TXP on my 200 Pro w/ E-tec H.O. last year and really liked it too.

You can not swap the wires and make it work, just replace the trim guage with a BRP guage.
