Too many hours???

Hi guys. Im looking at a boat with a Yamaha Vmax with a 170 hours on it and the motor is a 2007. Im just wondering if this is too many hours on this motor for only being 3 years old? Thanks for any help

Not at all. That is a pretty normal hours for that year motor. 50 up North and 100 hours in the South a year is normal so you figure it out.

That's normal. I've always heard an average of 75 per year but the 50 North and 100 South makes more sense.

My mechanic told me 100 hours a year is pretty much the average for a weekend angler.
