anybody fish this past weekend? ..false river report

Ended up going to False River on Saturday morning...only fished from about 6:30AM until about 11:15AM. Caught 4....2 on plastics and 2 on cranks. 2 of em were shallow, 2 of em were near the end of docks...how's that for a pattern!?

Water temps stayed right between 74.5-75.0 the whole time we were there. Only saw 3 other boats on the water..nobody doing much. Typical post-front day...high pressure, blue-bird skies, chilly/gusty north wind...and sloooowww fishin'..

If we would have had more time, we would have went to the spillway..might head out there soon.

Anybody else do any good this past weekend?

Caught 5 at Okhissa. 1 was 3 lbs. An older guy I talked to caught 9 with a couple 3s. Sure was a pretty day.

I went to the spillway for a few hours Sunday. Not good. 1 keeper but the bar fish and stripers were crazy. water is up and still coming.

Maybe these fronts with the north wind will start to push some water out of the spillway??? It's usually down a lot more than this by this time of the year. The winter is one of my favorite times to fish the spillway when the water is down. Jig Jig Jig :) :) Caught a lot of nice ones in the cool weather out there. Might try and go to Henderson this weekend....

I went to Verret on Sat. and caught 12 . But I had to burn A lil gas to catch them !!!!!!!!

Went down to Lake Decade had 1 bass 3 reds 1 over 27" and a few under sized reds . Had a friend of my daughters with us 10 years old caught her first red 17" . Was a beautiful day !

No specks in Decade yet? Good trip Gun,,I don't think I caught 12 keepers on Verret in the last 5 years. I gotta make myself fish that side more. I do see a lot more small fish there this year so maybe its on the verge of something good

Well with a 20 mph wind could not fish in the lake .

I didnt measure any of them , just chunkedem back in .
