    CRC Fuel Stabilizer

Anyone tried this product? One of local Yamaha dealers recommends it. They make a version called Phase 4 that includes the cleaner but the dealer mechanic said the cleaner part is not adequate, like Seafoam and you still need to use RingFree. So I am considering the stabilizer version only.....about $6 per 8 oz bottle if you buy it by the case.

Is he saying that Seafoam is not a good enough cleanerand you have to run Ringfree also...Seafoam is all I use and my piston tops are spotless and the O2 sensor only gets cleaned once a year and it is never really dirty and carboned up..

Yes that is what he was saying. Still need Ringfree if you use Seafoam. Other than cost I guess there is no downside in doing so?

    Re: CRC Fuel Stabilizer (201pro)

I have run crc through my hpdi without any problems. I have used the one that stabilizes fuel and prevent phase separation from ethanol.
