Might be better off asking this question for a timely reply in the prop section.
Yes a Merc prop such as a Fury will fit on the SHO with the Yamaha hub kit. Yamaha recommends a prop with no vent holes so you may have to plug them on a Merc. prop. Larry Brumley

Hmmmm The Yamaha props they use on the SHO are vented. Most use the T1 V=Max prop... I'd try the fury w/o plugs first. They dont vent hard anyway.

Yamaha has a new VMAX prop for the SHO that is not vented. They used it on the boats that they demoed at the SHO release. Larry Brumley. IT has A different Part Number than the T1.
I just sold my motor and am doing a re-Power with my 25P Fury prop. My dealer has informed me that it should be just fine to use that prop. Also, I should not need plug the vented holes too. Now the wait begins.
The yamaha gearcases seem to like a larger diameter prop than the 14 in fury. My motor/boat did not like the 27 fury. Keep us posted on the results.![]()
