I agree with Toledo Bend. Normally when I do mult-day trips I go salt, but I really want to go to Toledo Bend for 3 or 4 days.

I like Concordia , good bream and great catfishing for the kids and quality bass fishing also . Sportsman Lodge is a good place to stay with a large dock and it don`t get slammed by pleasure boaters

I would have to go with Toledo also. Not many pleasure boaters to deal with there...........too many stumps.

Stay at Neely's Spokane on St. John. They have cabins on the water for $130 a night that will sleep the whole family and the fishing(bass) has been better than Concordia. I just got back from Sportsman lodge and eventhough the grounds are clean and nice the cabins are old and a little run down. The people were super friendly but I think for a family trip St. John would be better!

If going to Toledo Bend, check out this place
    http://www.greenacresfishinglodge.com/

I have stayed at the Bed & Breakfast twice and the bunk house with the entire family (6 adults and 2 kids) for 4 nights. One bathroom for the bunk house is the only thing, but it is managable.
The B&B is nice. Wife and I go. I go fishing before daylight and return at 9 or 9:30 for an awesome breakfast, then take her out for bream fishing or just boat riding.

Buddy, I think you need to go to Blind River. I know you don't need any more fish in your freezer with bow season right around the corner. Give me a call, I have 2 freezers in need of some fish. LOL
