ran the engine got it warm. pulled the plugs sprayed fogging oil into the plug holes tightened them and turned the engine over with the kill switch off.
changed te lower unit fluid with the recomended product greased all the points I ran sea foam all year added it to top off the tank.
Only think I didnt do is disconnect the water line to my speedo, so sohould I do that and blow it out its indoors but it will get cold
I would and also the water pressure gauge or you may have to replace both next year.

disconnected it under the dash not much water flowed via gravity, so I bought computer Air ran the nozzle into it as best as I can tried to flush some water but not much then I disconected it at the engine did the same there and through the fitting in the engine hadda water came out of the engine also....what did I miss
Did you spray the fogging oil in the motor while running? Your manual should explain the proper procedure for storing the motor. My 225 OX66 , I remove the cover from the air intake and spray the fogging oil in the ports until the motor is smoking heavy white smoke. Then shut it down, remove plugs and put a good shot of fogging oil in each cylinder. You should also change the lube in the lower unit, should there be any water in there. If it's milky in color you have water intrusion, check seals and the two drain plugs on the lower unit. There is a kit for Yamaha, with a pump and threaded line to make is a little easier to fill the lower unit.
I have a 2001 225 EFI and here's what I did, was it enough. Ran fuel treatment true tank and motor, disconnected fuel line from motor and blew fuel back to tank, lowered the motor all the way to drain what water I could from inside motor. Stored in the tow position.

Recommended way to fog is through the cylinders although some claim is gives the injectors issues. I never had an issue and will continue to fog while the engine is on spraying into the cylinders. Just go easy on the top one due the the o2 sensor. You should also drain/clean the water/fuel seperator and drain the gaas from the VST tank. As well as all the other stuff draining oil topping off gas, plugs, ect.
