I got my old 15' Glastron w/85 Rude back from nephew after he didn't use it in 3 yrs. The motor is running but the boat needs floor replacement. Is it worth keeping as backup?

Roger that might make somebody a helluva starter boat. I know compared to my first 9.5 Rude/14' flat no trailor ,I would have prolly killed for it.TBJ
Roger, tried replacing floors in two other older boats before- the problem is usually when you open em up, there is a lot more going on than just the floor being soft. But, if ya like to spend time doing those type things, some people like to do it. I don't have the time or patience to be messsing with re-building boats anymore.
Hey Toledo Bend Jim, have to get together with you sometime and make a trip to the Bend. If you like to fish South La, I live on Lake Cataouachie, one of the hottest big bass lakes in the region right now. Have caught several double digit bass this year, lets make a trip!
Steve I have about 10 projects at the house that are 90% complete so if I start on the boat it will probably be the same way. Would just make it usable, not like new.
