Man, when said off the paradise, I just knew that you were going to Alabama.
Well fishin started out slow saturday morning. I fished the EBI canal for about 30 minutes without a bite, so headed out to lake lery. Finally found some grass about 8 started to catch fish. I stayed on that flat most of the day and caught a 4.5lb-er on small point. Those fish sure are mean down there, I knew for sure it was a big red until that head came up. Overall I had fun though, ended up with almost 11lb sack. My dad caught a 6-lb right before weigh in by the shipyard. I was sick when he pulled that monster out and beat me by 1lb. But oh well.
I heard the Gulfport boys whipped ya'll at the DERA tx. Both of those guys are in our club.
I'm glad everything worked out for you we fish there on the 12th next month.
