Problem I noticed last time out...

I noticed my motor doing this last time out. When I would be on plane and start trimming up, the motor would bog down until I let off the trim. Then it would take off again. Also, my voltage guage is only reading about 12V while running WOT. What's going on? Any help?

Your charging system is gone out or your battery is going bad. I would bet the charging system is gone though.

YES. Get a Digital Volt meter and check it at your battery. It should read 13.5 to 14 volts at WOT.

Ok...my volt meter on my dash reads 12V at WOT and when I hit the trim it drops below 8-10 and then pops back up afterwards....it also seems like it's not getting juice just while trimming the motor up and down while not running.

Sounds like it isn't charging Sam. I would think that if it's a battery you would have trouble cranking it.

Or your tilt trim motor is frying. (might have gotten water in it).
I think the new secret color is "A-Rig"..........

Would that not cause it to not work at all?

Sorry, I typed my question wrong. It works, it is just kind of lagging, like it doesn't have enough juice to run the trim and the motor at the same time.

Gonna replace the battery (time for a new one anyway) and hopefully that fixes it.

Make sure you tighten those wing nuts really tight, or better yet, use regular stainless nuts. It also helps to put a good terminal lube on there to cut down on the corrosion
