    off topic...hunting question?

We lost our lease in woodville, ms and have found a lease off of plank road. It borders plank and blairstown rd. Blairstown rd runs back to bluff rd off of plank. Just curious, but do any of yall know how the hunting is in this area?? Decent deer??

The way that most people hunt now is for girls anyways. I don't see any sport in sitting in a tree with a 300 mag. rifle with a scope on it and shooting a deer, that's too easy. I hunted all my life till we started doing that. Bow hunting should be the only hunting done from a tree stand.

I guess we should make our own bows with limbs and sticks too!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I dont think you will see near as many deer in that area as you did in woodville and i know the horns will be smaller.

    Re: off topic...hunting question? (DOUGMCGEEPUMAFTD)

That damn 45/70 cost me the biggest deer I ever saw last year . But premitive weapons are allota fun . They keep ya witts keen , and make sure ya stay on ya toes . But where I hunt at ,its hard enough to kill A rack deer with A rifle , so I dont have to make it any harder on myself by using all that other stuff . And that 270 wsm is sweet , its one of the flattest shooting rounds out there , and packs A pretty good punch to .

Primative weapons.....unless it has a cap and ball and has alot of smoke coming out of the barrel when fired, it ain't a primative weapon in my opinion.
